It's like saying "If we kick the big guy in the nuts he won't be dangerous for the next 5 minutes". Yes for 5 minutes you are safe. And then what? The big guy says thank you and buys you coffee? Israel's role, however indirect, in local conflicts is not going to become more and more invisible, more and more ignored. Like the Bedouin saying "Me against my brother, my brother and i against our cousin" etc, the internecine conflict amongst Arabs or Muslims will refocus as it widens. What is developing is not a local conflict that excludes the issue of the state of Israel. When the conflict reaches a certain point numerous leaders will step forward, a natural phenomenon, to refocus the conflict and rebuild Islam.
