Although Barak gave a very logical explanation, and Netanyahu duly explained that he cannot keep track of the timing of every directive at the regional level, I cannot help musing that the hand of G-d is in there somewhere, since the Jewish people depend on Providence to maintain them against all odds throughout History. I hope the Vice-president will regain his sense of humour and his demeanor, and I am hoping that the humanitarian crisis in Gaza should be eased so that the one lone remaining Israeli captive be released before it is too late. That to me is the priority, not anyone's wounded pride, not least the inflated egos of the PA.
