I agree that there is an enormous bias against the Satmar, and overall against observant Jews. What is practiced in their stores is in fact normal in many establishments. Businesses have the right to establish dress codes for their operations. I'll take myself for instance. I don't like to wear closed shoes, let alone anything on my feet. I have gotten tossed out of establishments in fact for coming in barefoot despite their not being any signs present. There is actually no health code against this and most establishment owners know this, but yet, no one in the media or commissions is filing any kind of law suits. And on the subject of closed shoes, I do find it discriminatory that women can enter some places in open shoes and no stockings while I would get thrown if I did the same or get strange looks when I exercise my freedom of choice to not wear socks. Where is the moral outrage???
