but rather that they will not come while the Isrealis continue to build settlements on land that is suppose to be under negotiations - no believes that there can be peace without a divided Jerusalem, the US is correct to assert that this is a questions that has to be answered by both parties but both parties have a claim to Jerusalem and that will never change, demographics (the Palestinians are a far younger population and more prolific in reproducing) will ultimately determine the outcome. And it may go down in history that in the efforts to take everything, Palestinian and Jew got nothing - indeed, both parties will ultimately have to come to the realization that only a binational state will work. There is absolutely no way you can create and independent Palestine in the territories, it is too fragmented while at the same time they are not going anywhere.
