The wall restricts freedom, as do the check points. the murder rate has gone down dramatically. Your right about one thing. These measures to not insure, not freedom, but security, unless you are talking about freedom to live or live without having serious violence visited on you. Sadly, that is the best that Israel can do, though I do absoutely agree with the prespective that there must be two paths, sucurity measures and a peace agreement. Even those things do not insure "freedom" but they do enhance the chances!
