Iran is years away from even being able to build a crude atomic weapon. Even if they develop the ability to make boosted fission weapons, it would take significant number of weapons to 'destroy" Israel. And those weapons would be susceptible to interception, so for assured destruction an unknown number of duplicates would have to be launched at every target, or a viable second strike capability would have to exist. Nuclear war is not so simple as pushing a button and watching your enemy disapear.
