they are negotiating with the Quartet and not with Israel. And by the look of things Netanyahu has had to resort to jumping up and down waving his arms about screaming 'What about me' Fact is it has become apparent that in the battle against Islamic fundamentalism and in securing oil supplies it is in the International Community's best interest to advance the cause of Palestinian nationhood. All the Palestinians have to do is sit tight makes sure the more nuttier elements don't do anything stupid, complain about the illegal settlements, and agree to whatever the Quartet propose within reason. And the total lack of reaction in the International community to the Fogel murders mainly because they were settlers shows the Palestinian's campaign of delegitimisation of the settlements and the people in them has worked. The Palestinians have no need to take part in Netanyahu's charade about talks about talks about whether the Palestinian people should declare Israel Jewish. The settlers should realise that the jig is up and start campaigning for the Israeli government to build sustainable housing in Israel proper so they can re-establish their lives.
