65-year-old from local kibbutz suffers moderate wounds after being stabbed in the neck in southern Israel; manhunt underway for suspected assailant.19:09 06.02.16 | 0 comments
the Israeli-Palestinian issue has nothing to do with the Arab Spring, nor is it the source of Middle-East conflict as seen by the Arab Spring, as well as the conflicts brewing between Sunni and Shiite countries. The Israel-Palestine conflict is not internal, as are the rest of the Arab Spring conflicts. It is more comparable to other countries whose ethnicities are fighting for autonomy. And even those are not comparable, as Israel was defined as a state by the UN, whereas 'Palestine' was never formed because they rejected their state to spite Israel, holding out for the promise from their Arab bretheren to wipe Israel out. This situation is unique, and yet the entire world decides to single out Israel with a negative focus. I wish the EU luck in solving a conflict which they don't even understand.
