It is not difficult to recognize an injustice and speak out against it. Even America has gones 5this far concerning Israeli settlements. Sadly, talk is not enough to fight injustice. In fact, talk may even encourage injustice if talk is recognized as the limit to which one will go. Hamas has an obvious and justified reason to fight Israel. Israel has stolen much of the Palestinian land and is hell bent on taking more. This justifies Hamas in any action they take against Israel. Iran (and Turkey) on the other hand have not been occupied or attacked by Israel, at least not directly. It seems that both these nations are filling the vacuum left by America when the American president stated that America would stand by Israel no matter what. The message Obama sent to the mideast is that America would not help them no matter what level of injustice Israel rose to. In other words they must save themselves. Iran should be commended for doing the right thing, even if it is difficult and even if all of Israel's surrogates are arrayed against them.
