I really wish the Egyptians well. Of course they deserve a democracy...of course, but, they have the same problem that we have in Latin America. We are the sons and daughters of people ruled for centuries by Emperors, and Pharaos. No matter what we do, what we complain, what we revolt, we always, and have always, come back to square one. It must be something in the air, or maybe it is simple sociology and history. Somehow something always happens just as we are about to take the last step to achieve our democratic goal. There´s always a "killjoy". Somebody who at the very last minute ruins our "fiesta". Yeah, Houston, we have a problem in the Middle East and Latin America...
