I can understand Nathalie Darson's sentiments if indeed she was brutalized as a child in Palestine. I wonder what turned Lakshmi into such an irrational character. Their postings unfortunately trigger harsh responses turning the whole talkback discussion into an unproductive dialogue. Hamas (alike Lakshmi and Nathalie) would lose their raison d'etre if they simply recognized Israel's right to exist. In today's world geopolitical structure the existence of Israel is a fait accompli. Israel cannot be defeated militarily. Peace will only be possible if and when the Arab countries in the region give up the illusion of wiping Israel off the map. In the meantime Israel will continue to prosper economically and otherwise while Palestinians will continue going down the drain of human existence. All the rhetoric from the Lakshmis of this world about land, territorial occupation etc is irrelevant and can be resolved with good will on both sides.
