I do NOT believe that the Israel Air Force caused the deaths in Qana and it's time that Israel expose the deadly game that Hizballah is playing. Brigadier General Amir Eshel has indicated that he questions why the structure in Qana took 6-7 hours to collapse after that 1:00 AM air strike Sunday morning. Maybe there collapse had nothing to do with the air strike. If not, then what might have happened? A likely answer is Hizballah is fragging their own civilian population as involuntary martyrs. Not children you say....Yes, Hizballah went after the children especially. Framing Israel in the murder of Lebanese children would be considered especially egregious. Western culture has a hard time accepting the extremist/fundamentalist mindset. The West cannot deal with the mindset of the suicide bomber who volunteers for so-called martyrdom, let alone the concept of those who might be recruited for martyrdom against their will. We saw a hint of this the other day when Nasrallah called those children he murdered, by missiles in Nazareth, martyrs. In one public declaration he rationalized away their deaths. It is not such a big step for the same organization to follow-up on the Qana air strike, frag the innocents and blame Israel...after all they would only be martyrs for the same cause as well. We saw this same tactic during the intifadas with the PLO selectively shooting their own and blaming Israel. If an investigation supports that indeed Hizballah ruthlessness was at play in Qana, this would represent an escalation in its own right. Israel must expose Hizballah for what they are. It's a public relations war that cannot be lost.
