Israel's actions aim to protect its citizens. If it allowed this boat in, it would be precedent setting and who knows how many boats of this sort would be sent in. As tragic as it is, once the blockade decision was made as a result of Hamas takeover/Shalit, Israel had no choice but to enforce, ESPECIALLY when they came from private citizens which hold no accountability to anyone and who have no official communication channels with Israel. So as much of it being a sucky predicament, it kinda makes sense. Can anyone explain the Hamas position and than their hatred of israel (and wanting to keep pressure on) being greater than their love of their own children?
