There seems to be an implicit assumption that should the demonstrators succeed in toppling the regime in Iran, that its replacement would no longer wish to obtain nuclear weapons. Why that should be escapes me. Has anyone seen any Iranian demonstrators protesting their government's attempt to acquire nuclear weapons? Indeed, and ironically, Israel should pray the current regime stays in power. It's successor will probably be far more popular with the West -- and it will be correspondingly more difficult to drum up support for action against its nuclear program. ...not that I mind. Just pointing it out.
