The Palestinians (especially the refugees) will clamor for the territories inside the Green line - Haifa, Jaffa, Lod, etc. - because from their perspective the entire country is illegitimate. Al Nakba commemorates 1948, not 1967. Never mind the fact that the Arab world in its arrogance started and lost the war. In addition, the radical elements of the Muslim world will come down like a ton of bricks on the Palestinian leadership, claiming they have no right to renege on "Muslim land," i.e., Israel inside the Green line. In other words, an Israeli withdrawal from the territories will NOT stop the conflict, but only exacerbate it. This being the case, Netanyahu will be wise not to withdraw from the West Bank. As for Aluf Benn, the Talmud says that after the destruction of the Temple prophecy was given to children and fools.
