Israel used inappropriate means to stop the Marmara, resulting in the death of 9 Turks. Any police chief that would have controlled a crowd of demonstrators in this way would have been out of a job. Nevertheless, Israel refused to apologize to her DEAR FRIEND about this. In Sinai, there was a similar event. Israeli troops crossed the border in a fight against terrorists, resulting in the death of 5 Egyptian troops. Nevertheless, Israel failed to apologize to Egypt. The most that could be extracted from Israel in both cases was an expression of "regret" for the death of their people. Something is rotten in the Israeli mindset. Apology for wrongdoing is a basic expectation from any non-sociopathic human being. Indeed, more should have been done, such as offering to compensate the families after an investigation that should have been aimed at determining what part the victims contributed to their own death. Of course, this was not offered. Israeli citizens should be sorry for that, instead of blaming the other side.
