The curious catalyst for this whole incident did involve some Palestinians. A catalyst is something which precipitates a reaction but is otherwise not part of it. "Israeli troops along the fence identified three people crossing into the country between Re'im and Kissufim. Many troops were called into the area,. . ." - Haaretz Good Idea! The intruders could easily be terrorists infiltrators. "The incident occurred during the pursuit of one of three Palestinians who crossed the fence into Israel." - ibid Were the other two apprehended at that time? "None of the Palestinians were armed." - ibid Who knew and when? "The Palestinians were arrested and told their interrogators that they wanted to seek work in Israel." - ibid Three 'dry backs' trying to enter a hostile country for work. . . Tension, fear, crepuscular lighting, hot weapons and a tragic mistake. There is a lesson here folks but it isn't about Jews and Muslims. Anyone besides me KNOW who 'Mickey" Marcus was?
