The headlines this week reeked of déjà vu, reminiscent of previous confrontations and intifadas, as conditions on the ground in Gaza are becoming more and more similar to those that preceded the 2014 war.19:05 05.02.16 | 4 comments
"but as long as isreal has them and uses them to blac kmail other nations those other nations will want them." - the bomb I have never seen Israel 'blackmail' anyone with it's presumed nuclear capability. I think a persuasive argument may be made that Israel's capability has been a stabilizing factor in the region. The last major war was almost 40 years ago after a period of 25 in which there were 4 major wars. As a results none of the neighboring countries of Israel have pursued nuclear weapons. They have a perfect excuse to not attack, and two have made peace treaties with Israel.
