The Comptroller will find out what Israel needs to know for its own good: 1. What intelligence was there about the passengers and cargo? 2. What options were there for accomplishing the Israeli goals? 3. How and why was it decided that the helicopter raid method should be used? 4. Was the National Security Office been involved in the discussion? (Apparently not). Israel needs to improve such decision making processes so as not to fall into similar pits because of some trigger-happy ministers.
