Islam never had a reformation - a Martin Luther type never pushed past the mismanagement and corruption of the clergy, wrote up this thinking, and nailed the paper to the front door of the nearest mosque. Or maybe someone HAS done this, and died for trying. Just imagine if a Muslim WOMAN tried to do this. Oil gave Islam, Arabian Islam at least, a crutch - hell, a wheelchair - that more or less kept these nations going. Because the West never had oil / gas of its own, everyone figured that the money pipeline to Islam would last forever. Except . . . the West has almost unlimited oil and gas thanks to shale. Australia has oil shale! Slowly and gradually, that money pipeline will close. Directly and indirectly, this will force Muslims to question those who run its system and the decisions they make. Reality will force Islam to grow up. It's obvious - Muslim terrorism wants to roll the world, roll humanity, back to a past where one book has all the truth and hairy clerics make all the hard choices of life. And get rich doing this, BTW. I actually believe Islam, but its terrorism will get worse before Muslims dial it down.
