Wolfensohn is admirably balanced. Everytime he apportions blame for something, he is careful to blame both sides equally. Disturbingly one-sided episodes, like when he Palestinians responded to the Gaza disengagement immediately (the same day it happened) with a big barrage of rockets aimed at Sderot and the border crossings, are ignored entirely. He only mentions the rotten fruit dumped by the side of the road as a result. He repeatedly says we must give the Palestinians hope". Hope of what exactly? The only hope that the Palestinian national spirit nurtures is the hope to exterminate zionism. Normal life, economy, peace? Silly concepts. The man is a brilliant diplomat who managed to get various world bodies to waste 9 billion dollars on Pal infrastructure that was then happily squandered. A great progressive dreamer.
