I am a progressive Democrat, and I honestly think it was fortuitous that "extremist" Bush won the election rather than letting socalled moderate Kerry in there. Kerry would have kept us in the war, and the Democrats wouldn't oppose him because he is fellow Dem. Bush on the other hand has repulsed the American people so much, he will have to pull out to save the republicans from disaster in 2006. In addition, the idea that Hillary will win, makes me ill, because she would persue the war as well. Once Dean was defeated, the war issue was a non issue. I'll take an honest and preferably dumb extremist over a cloaked extremist any day. Kerry also supported the the annexation of 100% of Jerusalem, and his wife openly brags of her frienship with Natan Shuransky. He is definately to the right of both Clinton and Carter on the two state solution and he actually doesn't believe in it.
