    and the lady ashrawi gets a prize. we knew one of them would figure it out sooner or later. ehud's barak and olmert were elected on a campaign of ending the occupation and making peace. but the palestinians didn't WANT peace. so if they really don't want it, israelis aren't going to keep electing end-the-occupation-we-don't-even-believe-IS-an-occupation-just-to-make-you-happy-candidates. your fantasy where we kept jumping at the cheese until you pulled it away at the last moment had to end some day. well, it's been a while since we elected netanyahu, but i'm glad you were able to figure it out at long last. maybe some day, you'll realize why the ehud's were elected. THEN we'll be getting somewhere. or who knows? maybe you'll find leaders savvy enough to figure out what's going on WHILE it's happening, instead of years later? now that would really help things.
