Haniya or Mashaal would be Israel's preference, of course, and Fayyad would be its worst nightmare...lol. I'm betting on Fayyad if Abbas lasts another couple years - his numbers are going up as the average Palestinian becomes more aware of exactly what he's been up to and what it translates to for them. Word seems to spreading about him. Marwan Barghouti would be a good bet, and would probably serve Israel's interests better...lol...but we all know where he's going to stay. One thing for SURE though, come election time, Fatah better pull their heads out, stop all the infighting, and limit their candidates, or else it's going to be a repeat of the last elections, despite its considerable lead in the polls - just like what happened last time...with their votes spread thin because of the number of candidates. Because THAT'S what gave the election to Hamas.
