American Thanksgiving is not a Christian Holiday in the least. It is a day for thanking the G-d of all Creation for His blessings upon the United States of America. But America is not alone; there are also other nations that have the same holiday, e. g., Canada. And just for the record, the United States of America and it's mostly Judeo-Christian (that means Jews and Christian faiths based upon Judaic principles) population, all worship the same G-d of Isra'el. The holiday is based upon Sukkot, in fact. But even with all of that, some of the Native American tribes of the United States of America also celebrate holidays very similar to Sukkot at the same time at the same moon. And quite interesting, they worship "Elohay". To say that Thanksgiving is a Christian holiday is without knowledge of its roots. Jews should be honored that the light of G-d has shone upon any nation that would want to emulate them in any way. The United States of America so highly esteems the G-d of iIsrael that it built it's national cathedral altar from stones from Israel. Israel should take great pride in its influence upon mankind instead of always criticizing mankind's pathway to find the Creator.
