The best thing about this outrage, as the Netanyahu administration spits in the face of the US, is that it has finally began the open discussion in the highest levels of government and the military about the cost that the US pays in absorbing terror (against our troops and citizens) as the result of our apparent support for the worlds only violently enforced colonial settler movement. Our highest military and federal leaders are now discussing this openly, and it is now finally being correctly reported in the press. When the average American begins to understand the utter moral depravity of the settler movement, and that as the result of our association with it, the US stands to lose trillions of dollars and potentially tens of thousands of lives, US aid to Israel will finally become dependent upon removal of the settlements completely. The US might also lose track of the UN veto pen and allow virtually the rest of the planet to begin censure, boycotts, sanctions, and embargoes.
