Thanks Ben, an unexpected compliment. For myself this situation is vbery human. Without understanding how a society is made up is to be ignorant of that society. I send my son everyday to Kfar Kara, to a mixed Moslem-Jewish Israeli school. there are four in the country. As you might know, I am not a leftist, but nor am I on the right. I have long ago come to terms with the fact that we share this country with a large Arab Moslem and Christian population. I wanted my son to experience friendship and understanding with the Arab children of the area. it has also served myself and my wife in removing much of the fear usually associated with entering Arab villages. I have come to call a number of Arabs friends. I am deeply interested in their society, and their strong ties to family. What I have long talked about is the concept of Honor and Humiliation in Arab society, which is extraordiarily different then that of the European Jews. Let's work for peace.
