It is so heartwarming to see a story like this. This man and his family deserve great blessings. This story also speaks well of the robust Israeli society. On one hand, we see how Israel is no different from other nations, in the sense of having corrupt government. At the same time, it also has a free press and that should be applauded. Letting the world see the ugly flaws of Israel makes it that much easier for us to all get along. If you're close to G-d's heart, that's wonderful. Such a thing should not affect the ability of others to do the same, regardless of their spiritual path. A person who insists on being superior to everyone else can find themselves in quite an inferior moral position, which is what makes a story like this so powerful. Here we have one of your 'filthy Arabs' showing us what true Humanity means. Kol Hakavod indeed, and shame on anyone who is truly surprised.
