But I'm off tommorrow for three weeks in France. When there is peace between Israelis and Palestinians and there is a palestinian state next to Israel I will be on the first plane and look at one of those little cottages outside Kfar Hanassi, or Rosh Pina. I admire Segev tremendously. We are not in '67 in 2007. The Arab honour you referred to above does not play the role it did then. The Arab world wants peace, not through any love of Israel or feeling of the justice of its cause but because they know there is no alternative and that they have the demographic advantage. Now is the time for Israel to accept the offer and not do what Abba Eban accused the Palestinians of doing at every opportunity- of never missing an opportunity to miss an opportunity.
