There are a number of Israel's "business" dealings with other nations that resulted from American pressure. The Turks wanted to buy American drones. Since Turkey and America are NATO allies, this didn't seem a big deal, but, America steered Turkey toward Israeli drones instead. America pressed Egyptian manucacturing companies to buy sub assemblies from Israeli companys. The best sweetheart deal ever comes frmo America of course. Duing the 1970's world oil crisis, America started buying all the fuel supplies used by the IDF in order to shield them from increased prices. That little sweetheart deal has spanned the decades and is still in force today. There are dozens of little deals with which America has propped up Israel over the years. They never seem to end and Israel just can't get enough of them. I won't believe this Egyptian gas deal will end until after it actually happens.
