As a Norwegian Jew - I deplore the Norwegian medias' constant confusion of judaism & Israeli foreign policy, but I reject the suggestion that Norway is leading some sort of anti-Israeli policy to the point of being ill-suited to participate in monitoring activities. Norway seeks to promote peace and respect for human rights on BOTH SIDES. And Shouldn't alleged bias any event be outweighed by reps fom other nations? Or maybe cut all ties? Denmark Ida, unfortunately I think you are naive. There is antisemitism in Norway. You might not feel it if you're not Jewish, but the ancient antisemitic stereotypes remain, now confused with disdain for Israeli foreign policy; a dangerous combination. However, antisemitism in France and the UK is a lot worse. Characterizing the celebration of Hamsun as government endorsement of Nazism cannot be a serious proposition. My relatives survived the 2WW thanks to non-Jewish norwegians. Yes, Quisling-regime was a scandal, but prob not worse than Vichy!
