Every state is anomalous in some degree. Israeli Arabs do not bear the heavy burden of responsibility for defending the state. Something that Arab mothers are probably happy about. Much of the difference between the religions lies in the application of the lobbying system built up because of the heinous proportional representation system that we were landed with. Arab Israelis agree with me that the cause for the differences often lies with the fact that Arab MKs are too busy concerning themselves with the affairs of foreign countries, appointing themselves junior foreign ministers, and don't attend to the needs of their constituents. Another point is that Israel is only sixty years old and has been embroiled in war since its birth. It is developing gradually and unevenly. There are problems to be solved, there is constant immigration, with concommitant changes in culture and expectations. Give us a chance before condemning us completely.
