starting with Oslo and continuing with Wye River, Taba, Sharm, etc. Israel would be not only stupid, but suicidal in following the plan proposed by Terry. Egregious PLO violations began as early as 1996, e.g., (1) failure to change PLO covenent (2) Incitement by Arafat for jihad and praise for terrorists such as Ayyash and suggesting to Arab complaintants regarding Jews in Hebron, "What, have you run out of stones in Hebron?" (3) Oct.4,1996, Palestinian policeman opened fire on Israeli soldiers and civilians resulting in 15 Israelis killed. (4) Failure to confiscate arms and disband all militias in the autonomous areas but Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the PFLF, the DFLP and Fatah continued to remain armed, (5) The organizing of children and youths to stone Israeli soldiers, etc. For any country to put its survival on the expectations that the Palestinians will perform requires a sanity test. Even in show biz dress rehersals are required, they haven't even made the costumes.
