That this moderate statement by the Red Cross is so brutally rejected - along with the tired old accusations about anti-Semitism, speaks volumes about the morality of some on this site. It's very simple - Palestinian civilians should not bear the responsibility for attacks by militants anymore than Israeli civilians should be targeted by the Palestinians. Israel is guilty of collective pusnishment and stands rightly condemned for it. Relentlessly dismissing such legitimate questioning of Israeli actions merely serves to underline the lack of any real moral justification for its behaviour. And explains why many across the world view Isarel as yet another terrorist state.
