European tourists waiting to visit " The White City" of Tel Aviv are puzzled when they encounter the actual " brown" one. Some renovation has been done but,has anyone walked around King George or Allenby? It's full of much-decayed formerly beautiful buildings in an awful state. Only in Cuba I've seen such a state of urban abandonment. Even in (supposedly) " chic" Rothschild boulevard there are tons of rundown buildings and dirty façades galore. Let's hope the renovation proccess does not stop; this could be a very nice city but sadly, it's still a drab and ugly one.
