If you had bothered to check out the facts (not your usual practice), you would have found that the next assignment after their looking at Nazi propaganda was to read a book by Elie Wiesel. I personally can't think of a better way to get kids to understand the toxic effects of such propaganda than to follow up reading the propaganda with reading Wiesel and seeing where such propaganda leads. I find it hard to believe you were a teacher, but if you were, you were certainly a very unimaginative one.
