I must confess I do not understand the Palestinian reluctance to have settlements. If someone from Mexico builds a house in the U.S. it becomes taxable in the U.S. If Israelis build very nice settlements in the West Bank, they should bring in very nice taxes for the Palestinian government. What government rejects taxes? I think the settlers do not understand this either. If someone from Mexico builds a house in the U.S., it becomes U.S. property, not Mexican. Why should anything be different in the West Bank?
