"The archaeology of the Golan is proof that the Golan is Jewish. I personally helped dig up a Talmudic era synagogue in Katzrin,... " Since the "Talmudic era" post-dates the period from 70AD on, how can Jews who, for all intents and purposes, have abandoned the ancient written Torah (i.e. Pentateuch), lay claim to the heritage of the ancient Israelites who lived by it? You are two different peoples, having essentially two different religions, which share hardly anything in common. I think a Muslim could make a similar argument for occupying the Golan. He could argue that both ancient Judaim and Islam make the same claim upon Abraham and the O.T. patriarchs. The Arab Muslim could argue, furthermore, that he is descended from Shem, and is, therefore, a true Semite. Whereas, you are the offspring of Japheth, or what Arthur Koestler called "The Thirteenth Tribe."
