Forget for a moment that it was Israeli's shooting at "unarmed civilians". Let's assume we are talking of any army law enforcement organization from any country. Scenario, Mob of 1000+ rushes barricades throwing stones & firebombs at police/soldiers. Law enforcement issued repeated verbal warnings to cease and move away. Mob answers with more firebombs and stones. Law enforcement fires warning shots to disperse mob, to no avail. Law enforcement in a final effort shoots at mob. Look at it another way. In any country, man attacks police with molotov cocktail, policemen shoots and kills man. Any internal affairs dept. in the world would clear officer's act as necessary and justified to protect his own life. One more way, unarmed demonstrators protest injustice. Government troops shoot and kill 22... oh sorry, that was Syria, yesterday. Where is the outrage in this publication? Against Israel defending it's own sovereignty. If this type of thing happens again, I would prefer to see Israel answer by breaching the border with tanks and the full strength of the IDF, march through Lebanon, take out hizbullah once and for all, and let the world carry on. All of these critics of Israel demand only one thing, Israel's destruction. This reminds me of the stories I've read of Jews being attacked in muslim lands and if they raise a hand to defend themselves against the muslim aggressor they are arrested sentenced to prison, torture, even death.
