First of all, I find nothing more amusing than the opinions people have about Saddam, Iraq, America, Bush and so on and so forth but have no first hand understanding of both cultures. I am Arab-American, I have been to Iraq (Baghdad, Mosul, & Telkepi), my parents were born there, we still have homes and family there and Saddam's hanging was probably the most heartbreaking thing I have ever seen in my life. Before everyone jumps on President Bush's bandwagon of American pride let's not forget that the Bush family owns a great percentage of the gas industry and the puppet we have for a president is nothing more than momma's boy trying to finish what his daddy couldn't. I loved the headline on CNN when I landed in the Phoenix airport on Friday: "Saddam Executed after FAIR TRIAL" The United States so conveniently covered their ass with the "Fair Trial." What's fair about having 3 of your lawyers killed?? Defense attorneys had no access to evidence?? (Will continue later)
