Hamas may have told Israel it isn’t looking for another war in Gaza, but it’s clearly desperate to advance its attack tunnels. It’s also delighted to be sowing seeds of discontent and concern among the Israeli public.04:19 13.02.16 | 0 comments
Taba had much potential, but Barak only had a month in office remaining and said the talks could only last a week and couldn't be binding. The Palestinian view was that if there had been longer and Barak had been in a position of strength rather than a lame duck, a settlement may well have been reached. it's a tragedy that the right solution came at the wrong time, but yet again, it was the fault of Israel, not the Palestinians.
