Hezbollah is orchestrating its attacks from its headquarters in syria. As well as being armed by syria they are also recieving real time intelligence to orchestrate its attacks. Unless you deal with the puppet masters which includes Iran then Israel will be fighting a war of attrition because it refuses to engage the root causes either out of political timidity or lack of will. Either way 3000 rockets on population centers demand a rethinking of military strategy and Syria needs to be included into it and if Tel AViv is attacked same goes for Iran. Israel must not accept a war of attrition it must think outside the box and gain the initiative through fast and devastating strikes. This is all dependent on the strength of Israeli political leadership and an independently guided military advisement. Victory must be attained however hard it may be, for without victory there is no survival
