Yes there is a fence in Israel, but none as big as the fence that Syria sits on,and why not? Its buddy buddy with Iran and it courts israel and America occasionally playing the game and looking for the best deals. For me they can have the Golan in return for peace.Israel will always have the capability of taking it back easily if there were problems. Meanwhile I think it is just making noise and playing games.Im not sure if it actually restricting hizbullah receiving armaments or if its helping one side or another in the Iraqi/Shiite/Sunni divide but right now it seems to be sitting smug, protected somehow by the politics around it.
