    Assad is not Mubarak. There is corruption in Syria, but Assad is personally very popular. A minority in Syria wants change. A majority of this minority simply demand reforms; not more. But there a minority of individuals and organizations with anti-Assad agendas. They have been trying to de-stabilize Syria for decades. They will fail.
