Palestinian convoy attempted to break the closure on Qabatiyah, on lock down for three days since residents killed an Israeli police officer in a Jerusalem terror attack.20:59 06.02.16 | 0 comments
You're right, of course, that most Israelis will not agree to put their destinies in the hands of the Palestinians. Nor should they. But they must deal with the fact that only the religious Jewish community in Israel is reproducing at a higher rate than the Israeli Arabs, and that there will in any event be a demographic "problem" within a generation or two. Better to safeguard the necessary rights through a solid Constitution, and begin the process of pressing the Pals (and Israeli Arabs) to adjust to an environment it would ensure, now; than to keep deferring that necessary effort for a later time, when it may be completely impossible to achieve. I just don't see a better end-game anywhere at all.
