    Israelis turn previous swamp and desert into fertile productive ground. While under constant attack, and absorbing immigrants dispossessed and expelled from Europe and the surrounding Arab countries, they create a thriving society and economy. Meanwhile, Palestinians, spend decades as pawns of their supposed Arab brothers whose only support them is military. And now Israelis are supposed to warmly welcome them back and divvy up everything 50:50, assuming that suddenly all enmity has suddenly disappeared? I doubt it. Two states is the only likely solution, and it will only work when the Palestinians can count on investment in infrastructure (not weapons) from Arab states, not just from Israel, USA, and Europe.
