Dagan with his record of "murdered people"... talks sense for change. Israel should abbandon its policy of interfering and terrorist activity. Dagan knows well that in case of another war of aggression involving Iran and Syria, at least some bombs will penetrate IDF defence and colonist enterprice based on myths will crumble like house of cards. For once he is right. Feelings towards place called Israel are those like in the past the feeling against zionist encestors in Khazar kindom in 10 century. Zionism shoud learn from its own past mistakes. It would be wiser to buid democratic state -"state of citizens" - and not place for "chosen people". It only makes planet people more angry. And one regime tried that already -Nazies- and what happened? No, no more Holocausts, Nakbas - just return to Tora, surch for God will make this part of the world better place. Religios fanaticism has only temporary benefits and its surely selfdestructive. petr czech

Why we don't know how to pick our leaders

Our craving for ideology means that we are partial to ideological leaders. But we need leaders who will make smart decisions that are aligned with the public interest.
