Obviously there will be no link between Gaza and the WB anytime soon. As this is part of forming a unified Palestine state after "whenever" peace talks. And as the correct "post 79" position on Gaza, was no Israeli occupation and local self government under an agreed Israeli-Egyptian arrangement - better late than never. The EU can more securely channel aid for Gaza via Egypt. Israel's security interest is being able to respond to any rocket attacks by closing borders. But in return for disarming and disbanding private armed groups could/should offer concessions granting air and seaports for Gaza.
