What a mistake the Israeli Government is making by not compromising with Palestinians at this point by releasing the prisoners before Corporal Shalit is returned. Of course we'll have to contend with the Hamas factions in the future so where's the logic in exercising further IDF incursions? The Palestinians have not won in either case down the road. For the IDF, who do you dispose of and who do you not? Are we waiting to contend with higher levels of threats, a severe retaliation in central Israel? Hesbollah? the Iranians? It looks like more and more that the Israeli cabinet does not comprehend the whole integrated perspective of their actions and consequences. The past lessons have not taught us a thing.
