The timing was near perfect. The Israeli counter-attack that just killed 4 Hamas members occurred immediately after that group fired mortars at civilians in the Israel that is inside the partition line (an act of war, therefore, by Hamas). Given that neither Haniyeh, nor Marzouk has announced to the press that the 4 were "farmers" or "students having a discussion"; looks like they got what they knew they might. The Arab world is aligned, once again, in its usual "we get all or you get nothing" stance against Israel. Your position often reflects the notion that Israel should, indeed, give them all and achieve nothing. Many of us think that is appeasement. The Arabs were the principle party responsible for the Occupation and, its aftermath (once they abandoned their Palestinian cousins on the battlefields), has given them years to propagandize and, it seems, suck good-hearted former Israelis like you into believing everything they say and nothing the decent people of your country do.
